Lovin' the day...

Let me just describe to you what is going on in our house right now and why I am so happy and thankful! First, it's raining! You know you live in Cali when it rains and all the kids come out to play. And that's just what happened today. M & I went out to jump in the puddles and 4 others neighborhood kids were also out. M got some new rain boots from Grandma and Pa for his birthday. He's been wearing them pretty much all the time, everywhere. Nice fashion statement. Today is the first day he wore them in the rain. We had a great time playing, splashing, getting wet.

Now we're inside. All kids are sleeping. I'm in my favorite cozy Moosejaw sweats, that I've been waiting to wear and my favorite long sleeve O.U. tshirt. It's still raining and cooler outside. Candles are lit that have a yummy fall scent. I made some tea because I wanted to be warm and feel the moment even more, I'm not really a tea drinker. And I have some homemade pumpkin bread to munch on. OHHHHHHH! Don't you just love it? What a great way to start the weekend! Now I'm going to watch a movie we started last night but fell asleep and didn't finish. Hope your Friday has been a good one too.

Back HOME!

We are back home in Chico and it feels really good to be back. We had a great time in Ohio, loved every minute of it, hard to say good bye but still it's good to be home. It's taken awhile to readjust to being home, schedules are kind of crazy, kids are a little crazy which makes mom and dad kinda crazy :) The girls are both teething big time which adds to the fun! T has 2 and working real hard on her next ones, K just got her second one today. M is so happy to be back in his own room with his own toys, especially his bike and scooter.

We have so many photos we want to share so for the next week or so I'm going to be pickin' the best of the best and give you a glimpse of our 5 week stay in Ohio. Let's get started!

Fun in the Sun

It was almost 100 degrees today so we were out in the pool early today. It was the first time all 3 kids were in at the same time. The girls LOVED IT! All 3 kiddos were in pool playing together for about an hour. It is such a joy for Bri and I to watch our kids to play together. Here are some pics from our fun morning!

A dude and two divas!

The kids have been extra fun and cute these past couple days. M continues to amaze us with his words, his memory and his ability to do just about any sport very well. He zips around the neighborhood on his scooter and his bike. He's into playing drums (on anything) and guitar to really any song. He is the girls entertainer these days, pushing them on the swing, playing basketball for them, making them laugh in any way possible.

K & T are both sitting up now on their own which makes them seem extra big to us. They are sleeping less (2 long naps) and eating more (3 meals now of real food). They love eating! Of course they do, they're Barelas! K does this scoot thing on her back to get around and T rolls in all directions to get where she wants. They like playing together and are into sharing/stealing each others toys. They love to laugh and smile and both are very ticklish. It's the best for us when all 3 kids are playing together.
